Weather data is joined to models of several infrastructure networks.[^1] Owners and operators can then follow a flood, a heatwave or strong winds from one network into the others, down to individual assets, and see where investment would reduce the risk.[^1,3]

The work has run as a series of projects:[^1]

- an original demonstrator on flooding across energy, water and telecoms[^1]
- an Extreme Heat project on water networks, funded by the Ofwat Breakthrough Challenge[^1]
- CReDo+, a beta project for which UK Power Networks and partners secured nearly £10 million from the Strategic Innovation Fund (Ofgem and Innovate UK), extending the twin to energy-network risk[^1]
- a December 2025 white paper on applying CReDo to transport[^3]

A minimum viable product was shown in a webinar on 17 September 2026.[^2] User trials are under way, and the final platform release is planned for March 2028.[^2] Access is by contact with the Catapult.[^1]
