AnyLogic
AnyLogic's simulation software combines agent-based, discrete-event and system-dynamics modelling in one model, with libraries for road traffic, pedestrians and rail and the option to place models on GIS maps.

AnyLogic is a general-purpose simulation environment from the company of the same name. Its distinguishing feature is that one model can mix three methods: agents with their own behaviour, discrete-event process flows, and system-dynamics stock-and-flow diagrams. Models are built with visual languages (flowcharts, statecharts, stock and flow) and can be extended in Java.
For place-based work the relevant parts are the Road Traffic Library (vehicles, intersections, signals, public transport, parking), the Pedestrian Library (crowd flows in terminals, stadiums and streets, including evacuation scenarios), the Rail Library, and built-in GIS maps on which model elements can be placed and routed along real roads. The company's case studies are mostly in logistics and manufacturing (DHL, BMW, Amazon), with transportation and urban infrastructure mentioned as further areas.
Commercial, with licensing options including floating licences. It runs as a desktop application and, since the AnyLogic Online version, in a browser; AnyLogic Cloud runs experiments, hosts models for others and exposes a REST API, and the company presents it as the way to connect models to operational data as digital twins.

How will people move through a station, a stadium or a festival, and how long would it take to clear an area in an emergency?
